The practice was founded in July 2007 by Bridgette Meehan, Michael Moroney and Patrick Moroney as a successor to B. Meehan Solicitors which had previously operated since 1992
Bridgette Meehan, co-founder of and now consultant in Meehan Moroney Solicitors, first qualified in Psychology and practised in the field of Educational Psychology before qualifying as a solicitor. Bridgette’s background and experience has lent itself to attracting work particularly in the areas of Family Law and Childcare and in Employment Law.
Bridgette has practised extensively in all areas of Family Law for in excess of 20 years. She is qualified as a Mediator, both in general dispute resolution and in family law disputes, as well as having training in collaborative family law. Bridgette has also provided a Guardian ad Litem service since 1997, having a strong belief in the right of the child to be heard in all matters and court actions concerning them.
Patrick graduated from University of Limerick in 2002 and qualified as a solicitor in Easter 2007.
He completed his training in a well known North Tipperary legal firm and worked there for a period after qualifying until July 2007 when he helped to found Meehan Moroney Solicitors.
Patrick has developed an expertise in a number of practice areas over the last number of years, personal injury litigation, civil and commercial conveyancing, family law, civil and commercial litigation, Wills and estate administration, licensing and district court matters.
Michael graduated from University of Limerick in 2001 and qualified as a solicitor in Easter 2006.
He completed his training in a well known Dublin legal firm and thereafter practised as a solicitor in Dublin until July 2007 when he helped to found Meehan Moroney Solicitors.
Michael has developed an expertise in a number of practice areas over the last number of years, in particular residential and commercial conveyancing, family law, civil and commercial litigation, employment law and Wills and estate administration.
